Eating Pretty: Mermaid Bowls
I’m not sure about you, but even though I love to eat fruits and vegetables, I’m more inclined to do so when the food looks as delicious as it tastes. One of my favorite superfood companies is Suncore Foods and nope, this is not a paid ad. The company is based in California and has made getting organic foods no matter where you are, you can get delicious food delivered straight to your door for endless recipes. My personal favorite? Mermaid bowls. It doesn’t get any better.
Not only are these smoothie bowls gorgeous and delicious, but they’re also so good for you which leads to no guilt and you can eat this for breakfast or a snack throughout the day. While there are at least a million ways to make a mermaid bowl smoothie, here’s my go-to recipe:
Mix Aqua Blue Spirulina with Vanilla Greek Yogurt and Vanilla Acai Protein Powder
Chill in the freezer for thirty minutes (Perfect for when I’m taking a post hot yoga shower)
Layer blueberries, kiwii, and chia seeds over the yogurt mixture
Add Coconut Chips for a little crunch and Rose petals for the health benefits
Enjoy with Pitaya Dragon Fruit Chips
