A+P: Mars and Mercury are currently both in retrograde and now we have a New Moon in Libra. When does this start and what can we expect?
SC: This New Moon takes place on Friday October 16th and this moon is going to be making a tough Saturn aspect. This energy will force us to make very responsible choices.
A+P: How should we prepare for this new moon? Is there anything in particular we should pay attention to?
SC: This is a time where one should spend time alone. Although this New Moon under Libra encourages partnerships, Saturn is impacting it to remind us of being accountable for what our needs are and that requires self awareness and honesty.
A+P: How will this New Moon influence our careers and partnerships, if at all?
SC: There is an influence on worth within our lives. What is your worth in terms of dating? Is where you’re working paying you your worth? Are the actions you’re taking going to be worth the cost of the sacrifices when it’s all said and done?
A+P: Are there any rituals you’d recommend for this New Moon?
SC: I highly encourage a self love bath:
Rose petals
Coconut water/ milk
3 drops of honey
3 drops of lavender
This bath should be done after you are physically clean. Allow yourself to soak in the water and recite “I am” affirmations while you soak. Keep your mind on yourself, your power and your strength.
